Kim Ima - Producer

As a film producer, Kim Ima has colllaborated with Greg Pak on "Robot Stories" and the shorts, "All Amateur Ecstasy", "Catfight Tonight," and "The Happy Hamptons Holiday Camp for Troubled Couples." Kim Ima is a theater artist based in NYC. She is a performer, director, writer and producer of theater and film projects. Her company, Cheap & Sneaky Productions, develops and produces theater and film projects...and all things cheap and sneaky (Go to for more information). Cheap & Sneaky productions include the plays, "The Interlude" and "Travels, Tours and One-Night Stands" presented at La MaMa, E.T.C. Kim is a member of the Great Jones Rep at La MaMa E.T.C., playing Cassandra in Andrei Serban's "The Trojan Women", roles in "Perseus," "Fragments of a Greek Trilogy" and many others. Other acting credits include Anne Bogart's production of "The Seven Deadly Sins" at New York City Opera, Diana Son's "RAW: Raunchy Asian Women" at HERE, and National Asian American Theater Company's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and five seasons of the one-woman show, "Within The Silence," a play about the imprisonment of Japanese Americans in the U.S. during WWII, for the Living Voices Theater Company. Directing credits include Ruth Otero's "Dancing With My Demons" at the Nuyorican Poets Café and the Blue Heron Arts Center, "The Interlude" and "Travels, Tours and One-Night Stands" at La MaMa, E.T.C. and the workshops of "The Learned Ladies Project" and "Up In the Sky."
