"I recently re-read Isaac Asimov's story and watched Robin Williams in 'Bicentennial Man.' In that case, my wife could only watch about 15 minutes before she decided it wasn't for her. I watched it all, but was disappointed. When I read about 'Robot Stories' on slashdot, and saw your web site, I decided to go see it. She was not enthusiastic, but went along and, as I said before liked it.

"In reflecting on the differences between the two films, we agreed that yours uses SF to establish a setting, and then tells human stories. 'Bicentennial Man,' on the other hand, introduces one miracle after another, thinly disguised as scientific breakthroughs, and seems to aim only to impress the audience with the author's cleverness."
